In order to increase interest in UNESCO's programs, AU has created two websites which highlight UNESCO news stories and which spotlight UNESCO programs and projects. They also provide current information about AU itself, and U.S. relations with UNESCO.

We have divided our coverage according to the UNESCO program involved. Some materials of general interest are published in both blogs (websites). Click on the title below to see stories. A member of the Board of Directors of Americans for UNESCO also manages the UNESCO's Friends group on the LinkedIn social networking site.

UNESCO has published a nine page, easy to read brochure, describing its organization, history and major programs.

A forum was conducted by UNESCO during 2004 and 2004 exploring options for the future of the organization, In inviting thinkers, philosophers, political leaders and experts from diverse parts of the world, the Forum aimed above all to stimulate our common reflexion and to provide food for thought through insightful, out-of-the box perspectives.
